What file formats can I upload?
Authors can upload books in PDF, Word, ePub or course materials (for training programs).
Is it free to upload a book?
Yes, uploading your book is free. BukuBase only earns through a 20% commission on every sale, meaning authors keep 80% of their earnings.
Can I set my own book price?
Yes. You can freely set your own price and even add discount coupons for promotional sales.
How can I track my sales?
BukuBase is a multi-vendor platform, so each author has their own dashboard where they can monitor book performance, view sales reports, and track earnings in real time.
How often are reports issued?
BukuBase provides monthly sales reports to all registered authors via email or whatsapp.
What happens if my book doesn’t sell?
If your book doesn’t sell within three months, our team will contact you with options — either to remove the listing or to provide marketing assistance to help boost visibility.

Is there a withdrawal charge?
Yes. A withdrawal fee (between 5–10%) applies to cover transaction and administrative costs. For example, if you withdraw K1,000, BukuBase will deduct a small fee before payout.
What’s the minimum withdrawal amount?
There’s no strict minimum, but we recommend accumulating at least K200 or more before requesting a payout for smoother processing.

Can I pay with mobile money?
Yes! BukuBase supports both MTN and Airtel Money for convenient local payments.
How do I access my e-book after payment?
After payment, you’ll receive a download link immediately on the website and via your registered email.

Can I get a refund?

Yes! Through Crown Arts Publishing, authors can print, publish, and distribute their books physically as well as digitally.
